Employment Opportunities:

There are usually minimum age requirements, which vary between different airlines. There are opportunities for males and females, married, single, divorced, and people with or without children. There are many opportunities for flight attendants as the industry is expected to be one of the fastest growing until the year 2008.

However, the industry tends to be cyclical as it follows the flow of the economy. If the economy is down during a recession, many flight attendants may find themselves without work. However, with any increase in airline capacity comes an increase in the need for flight attendants, as a minimum of one attendant is needed for every 50 passengers.
