Staying in Can Tho in the Mekong Delta
we bravely sampled a Vietnamese specialty, snake wine, distilled
and bottled with Cobras. You have not tasted potent alcohol until
you have burned your throat with this wine.
With a nasty hangover as a souvenir
we braced ourselves for a long bus trip to Nha Trang. Nha Trang's
most famous resident Mama Hanh runs the hottest gig in town, "Green
Hat Boat Tours."
For the young and anyone else who likes
to party, this day tour is not one to pass up. The tour takes
you to several islands off the Nha Trang coast but they are just
back drops to an all day binge.
For seven dollars the trip includes
snorkeling gear, a phenomenal seafood and tropical fruit lunch
buffet, floating bar and of course a party a'la Mama Hanh.
